The Penny Experiment!

I love collecting coins! Matter of fact I have collected some of the rarest coins from around the world! Today I did a very easy science experiment in which I took some of the copper off of my pennies and made copper plated nails! The only things that you need are lemon juice, salt, a jar to place the pennies in, some copper pennies (any penny made prior to 1982 should suffice) and some brand new everyday kind of nails!
